The system consists of mobile base units, complete with shafts & wheels, which run on two or more floor mounted tracks. The movement of storage unit on rails is achieved by direct manul effort on a handle, which operates the drive shaft via fully enclosed sprocket & chain assembly. The low gearing of the handle wheel allows virtually effortless movement of even the heaviest base. By assembling bays on moveable bases, it is only necessary to have one aisle in an installation. Depending on load we also provide motorized mobile racks.
